Errors, errors and errors are the most annoying things in this world. As long as we use the electric “things”, there’re always error there sticking to it. It may happen on your Nintendo Wii, too. You probably had faced many annoying errors on your Wii, or maybe haven’t got any errors yet. But whether you had faced or not, you should be ready for any error that may appear! Just like a proverb stated that prepare an umbrella before the rain. Give your Nintendo Wii the regular maintenance to save it alive for longer time. Nintendo repairs are also a skill that is required.

Some people are not even worry about these error things. They think that as long as they have a warranty, any problems can be settled. They can get their Nintendo repaired, but they will have to wait few weeks to get it back. But I think they’ll start panic, when there’s error occurred when there are lost the warranty. The only way to save the console is to pay someone much money to repair it.

To save your money and time, it’s necessary to own a Nintendo repairs skill. Or you can own a Wii repairing guide that filled with step by step how to fix Wii errors. I got some Nintendo Wii repair and troubleshooting guide here, hope it’s useful to you.

Replacing Internal Fan

Sometimes when the fan has become noisy whether its loud humming or clicking sounds, it’ll be very annoying. Or you may need to change the fan because it’s broken or caused by reinstall with a higher powered fan. Follow below steps:

Disconnect all power, audio/visual, and sensor bar cables from your Nintendo Wii.

Orient yourself to the Nintendo Wii console and the area around the fan on the back of the unit. Remove power cable and two additional screws near the fan.

Use a flat-head, screwdriver, fingernails, or a pry tool to separate the power cable from the outlet. Do not pull on the cables to disconnect as you could damage the connectors.

Using a Phillips screwdriver to remove both of the screws on either side of your Wii.

Slide out the fan to complete the removal of the internal fan on your Wii.

With the fan removed, you now can insert the replacement fan into the Nintendo Wii. To install, reverse the process above in order to install and connect the fan to your Nintendo Wii.

Removing The DVD Driver Player

Commonly the removal of the DVD driver player is for install a modchip or the driver is not function anymore. Follow below steps:

There are 4 small Phillips screws that anchor the DVD drive into the Nintendo Wii console. Remove all of them.

Now with the screws removed, the DVD drive is ready to be removed from the Nintendo Wii. Since there are two cables — a power and data cable that connects the DVD drive to the Wii, you will need to carefully rotate the DVD drive to the right. This will allow you operating room to detach the cables without damaging the Wii.

Now start with the data cable (the brown colored one) removal. The cable is connected to data cable by a clip that needs to be released by flipping the plastic clip up. Be careful and apply light pressure and not break the clip or data cable as they are difficult to replace. Slide out the cable from the clip to free it.

With the data cable and clip removed, now remove the power plug from the socket by lightly prying on the plug. Do not pull on the wires or you can ruin the cables on plug. Once the power cable is removed, the DVD drive can be removed from the Nintendo Wii.

Now you have removed the DVD drive from the Wii, you can apply your chip modification or simply replace it with a new one that you bought.

To reinstall it, you need to pay attention on the data cable, it is the most difficult to get back in. Start with it first by placing the drive on the side and slide it in evenly. Then attach the clip.

When putting in the recessed screws you need to either use a magnetic screwdriver to not lose the screws or find small tweezers to put through the opening for the DVD player to hold the screws in place if you do not have a magnetic screwdriver.

That’s the Nintendo repairs guide on the hardware. Well now what about on the software (I mean the error codes). Commonly the majority of Wii’s problems are due with error codes rather than hardware problem.

Error Number 32002 and 52030

It could be the problem on your Wii’s router. Try to change the channel from 1 to 11, if that doesn’t work, change the Wii’s security type from WEP to WPA to see if that helps.

Error Number 220602

Another Wii’s router problem, move your Wii until its near to your wireless Internet router. If that doesn’t work, try to swap the primary and secondary DNS server to fix it.

Error Number 51130

Try to pressing the “retry” button to solve this matter. If that doesn’t work, try to repress the “retry” button, it should eventually work.

Error Number 110210, 110211, 110212 and 110213

These error codes are indicating a hardware problem in the Wii. It means that you should take a trip to Nintendo service center.

Hope this guides can help you to solve your Wii’s problem. If I didn’t write the guide indicating to your Wii’s problem, you can try to search online about Nintendo repairs guide. Here’s some website that may help you: doityourself.com or somelifeblog.com or directly to Nintendo official website on support.nintendo.com.

Hope you don’t mind to view my other guide on: Nintendo Cheats or Nintendo DS Guide.

Nintendo Company has released so many video game console that had gain many popularity around the world. The entire video game console has demonstrated by its amazing sales figures. But machine still is machine; it’s inevitable that some suffer problems and errors during use. There’s many Nintendo repair guide out there, you search it online depends on the problem occurred.

Various problems had been reported due to Nintendo records. So it’s essential to search for Nintendo repair guide based on the error number or type of error that showed on your console.

Disc errors are the most common problem that Nintendo console faced. When the console is unable to read the disc, you must try to relax and figure out what the problem first. Please don’t try to break or trash the disc immediately, cause it’ll so silly to do this thing :p. Let me show you the Nintendo repair guide for this problem. Basically there’re two easy ways to fix it. First is the disc position. You may place it wrong position; if your console is placed vertically, the disc must face to right too and vice versa. Try to do the cleaning disc before insert your disc into your console by damp soft cotton cloth. The second problem is related with the controllers. Maybe your controller doesn’t synchronize with the game. You can open the battery cover on the remote, press the “Sync” button. After you see blinking light on the controller, press the “Sync” button on your Nintendo Wii. Try to repeat this action in all related controller.

If you ever met with system crash or system errors when you’re turning on your console, it’ll be troublesome for you. It’ll show some strange error message on the screen, write down five or six digit error codes. Basically it’s related with the hardware of your console. Try to disconnect, wait about 10 to 15 minutes and reconnect it later. If this action still doesn’t work, it could be that your console is experienced a general hardware failure. Its better send it to Nintendo hardware support store or you can visit Nintendo support website by filtering the error codes. If you can’t find any related Nintendo repair guide, maybe you should try to investing your money to buy Wii manual repair guide out there. It’ll teach you step by step how to repair or maintaining your console and also some of them will include videos how it’s carried out.
