The Nintendo DS aka NDS is the handheld game console with dual screen released in 2004 by Nintendo. It’s similar with the Game Boy Advance SP which is dual LCD screen inside with the touchscreen feature. Nintendo stylus, your own finger or a curved plastic tab are the accepted as the input in Nintendo DS. This feature allows us to interact with the handheld game console more directly than by pressing buttons.

Nintendo DS can play online video game or challenging other players with the wireless standards feature inside, and online with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. It’s also features a built in microphone and various color of clamshell design.

About Nintendo DS games is the thing that you shouldn’t worry about. Nintendo DS is backwards compatible with Game Boy Advance cartridges. So you can play both consoles games instead. But while playing Game Boy Advance games on Nintendo DS, you can only use one screen. You can setup the system to use whether the top or bottom screen by default. And the screen of games is displayed within a black screen border on the bottom. This caused by the different screen resolution between two console systems.

Characteristics Of Nintendo DS

Nintendo DS can bring us much enjoyable moment, help us to take pleasure in the exciting gaming experience and is well liked among all ages. But don’t forget to take care of your Nintendo DS, too! It can be naughty sometimes if you’re not taking care of it.

The most attractive part of Nintendo DS is the dual screen, but the majority of users experience using Nintendo DS is their screen appears cracked. It’s has 2 screen that separate 3 inch TFT LCD with the resolution 256×192 pixels. When your console appear a runny colors remain on the screen permanently even the console was off, it’s the sign that you gonna need to repair your DS! Sometimes if your console is dropped, knocked with other things or hits it can be damaged to the screen too. Using the Nintendo case is one of the ways to prevent its happened.

Scratch is one of things you need to pay attention. You can replace the screen with a new screen if the upper screen plastic cover is scratched with proper replacement instructions. Or you can repair it by sending your system to the local repair center. But I think its better send your console to Nintendo DS repair center. The technician will handle your system more professionally and more safe.
