When the Nintendo DS Lite console first launched in Japan, there were only two colors available. After that Nintendo released the Noble Pink version in the region on July 20, 2006. After a few months, Nintendo announced that they would be selling some new colors of the Nintendo DS Lite console in Japan. These colors are Pink, Blue and Lime Green.
