Game Boy Advance SP is an upgrade version from Nintendo’s Game Boy Advance released on February 2003 in Japan. Game Boy Advance SP, the SP is stands for “Special”. What is the special on this Game Boy?

Lack of screen lighting was the one of the main complaints about the old standard Game Boy Advance. It was difficult to play under the dim lighting. There’re some very important additions to the Game Boy line that had been introduced by Nintendo as the years have gone by. It has improved from the size, color and increased graphical capabilities. Game Boy Advance’s pain about lightening screen has been covered by Nintendo SP’s internal backlight which can make the screen completely visible in any light.

When system is not in use, you can fold down the screen of Game Boy Advance SP. It’s one of the features from Game Boy Advance SP, a clamshell design like a laptop that allow screen to be folded down and the screen hinge also locks at about 170 degrees, which is a perfect game viewing angle. It’s incredibly portable with a flip-top screen.

Well what about onto the games you played? Sonic Advance 2, a classic console affair looks tops on the Game Boy Advance SP. The animation commendably smooth and the graphics are excellent. Multiplayer games on SP can be played with only one cartridge by hook up two SPs with a link cable. There’re many multiplayer games or plenty more classic games out there we can play, such as Monkey Ball Junior.

Going by the samples we received, the games line-up is pretty strong overall. The Game Boy Advance SP is a well designed and supported unit.
