Game Boy Advance is the handheld game consoles which allow you to play games wherever you are. But if you add some accessories in this console, it can be more than video game console! With GBA Digital Photo Camera, your game boy advance is more than a game console. It’s very creative idea make an accessories camera on a video game console, so you can either play the games or take some picture. Game Boy Camera is one of Game Boy accessory released by Nintendo in 1998.

GBA Mini Camera which can transform your GBA into a digital camera has 8MB built-in flash memory that allows you to store up to 26 pictures. This accessory is capable to take basic, grainy, white and black digital images by using 4 color palette of the Game Boy system. You can print any saved images using the Game Boy Printer for making the hardcopy of your images.

The Game Boy Camera also got the title of “the world’s smallest digital camera” in the 1999 edition of Guinness World Records. And this accessory is the only handheld Nintendo product which features the camera function. All images taken by Game Boy Camera can be uploaded into PC using USB cable and Mini Cam PhotoBook software.

Some of the mini games were built into camera itself. You can use your own photo as an avatar in these mini games. Game Boy Camera is compatible with Original Game Boy, Game Boy Pocket, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Game Boy SP and also Nintendo Game Cube. You’ll need a Universal Game Link Adapter to connect to the printer, if you’re using original Game Boy.

There are many mini games can be played by using Game Boy Camera. The faces of the characters on the game can be changed by integrated the pictures you’ve taken by Game Boy Camera. The mini games you can play with are Ball, DJ, Space Fever II, and Run! Run! Run! The Game Boy Camera has a huge amount of cameos from past Nintendo games, most of which are from the Zelda, Mario, or Pokemon. Even though those series have the most cameos, others also have some, such as R.O.B., arcade games, and Game & Watch titles.
